A working reference grammar of Limbu (Yakthung), a Kiranti / Sino-Tibetan language of eastern Nepal, compiled from the standard descriptive sources. Limbu is SOV, postpositional, and famous for its biactantial verb — the verb agrees with both subject and object.
Sources: George van Driem, A Grammar of Limbu (Mouton de Gruyter, 1987); Govinda Bahadur Tumbahang, A Descriptive Grammar of Chhatthare Limbu. Forms are given in van Driem's romanization with IPA; this is a working draft, not a finished publication. See also the translator and (soon) the learning guide.
